Here is a quick rundown of what's going on with the 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR) scheme for the current period...

Eight-Eight

There is presently some buzz about the date August 6 coming up, which happens to be one of our 'original' STR key dates and associated with Paris and such. In the STR context it is always a date to be closely watched... pretty much every year.

Update 8/1: This year's August 6 is highlighted by an 'orange alignment' of Earth-Mercury-Sun which has long been found pertinent to the STR pattern. It also coincides with Tempel 1 - the comet hit by NASA's Deep Impact on the 7/4 'torch day' - crossing the Galactic Equator as seen from the Sun. (Tempel 1 was at the Galactic Meridian on ~July 26, coinciding with the launch of the shuttle Discovery.)

However, what I'm detecting now - a quite strong 'signal' - points, instead, to 8/8 as a more significant anchor date, which I guess could be seen as a follow-up to 7/7 (at least numerically).

On this Etemenanki website, so much has been made of the interconnectedness of key July world events, such as Live 8, G8, the London bombings... as well as the latest space shuttle Discovery 'carrying the torch' around the end of the highly 'ritualistic' month. By June, in fact, I was already noticing that there was an '8-8' theme emerging, and as such in the 'Contact' article I discussed the curious coupling of Live 8 and G8 as well as the 'bisected' 8-day window found surrounding the beginning of July or specifically July 2 which was the 'middle day' of the year, connecting Live 8, G8, etc. Indeed Live 8 was blatantly '88'-driven, as seen in this picture.

And it was just yesterday that NASA made its official announcement regarding Discovery's mission getting an extra day, meaning the space shuttle, assuming no more schedule changes, will return to earth on... 8/8. I must say I was expecting something like this. I had in fact been puzzled by the original date of 8/7 for the shuttle's return because of the one-day 'glitch', not conforming to the 8-8 pattern. With NASA finally and conveniently pushing it back to highlight the 'magic date', I now feel more compelled to 'preempt' what's developing here... by revealing the latest edition of the 'balanced' or 'Atalantan Judgment' STR time code.

July 31

First up is this 'balanced' (equidistant) timeline scheme anchored by the Windsor Tower fire in Madrid marking the 2/13/05 midpoint. This event, you may recall, has been one of the most prominent halfway point-markers observed this year.

In this period, we find a couple of 'Atalanta'/'balanced' time codes that involve NASA, the Sun, London, Athens Olympics (closing ceremony), the Republican National Convention (which, like the NASA Genesis crash event, was a continuation of the Olympics' hidden symbolism), and Discovery. These are all major Super Torch Ritual events discussed to death on this website.

The Olympic closing ceremony, 8/29/04, goes directly to July 31 this year, or today. This date is a key part of the 8/8-driven time code as we'll see.

Here is another set of 'balanced' time codes based on a 7/2/05 midpoint date. July 2 is the 'middle day' of the year, hence the underlying theme of bisection is particularly stressed in this case. These timelines consistently employ key dates associated with the final 'Judgment' period of the Michael Jackson trial which began June 3 (deliberation) and concluded June 13 (verdict). We have already talked a lot about this June edition of the ('tabloid') 'Judgment Day'-theme 'ritual'.

Again the date 7/21, or the London bombings #2, is pinpointed, along with Discovery's launch day. And, July 31.

Celestially, 7/31 appears to be highlighted by a Sun-Comet Tempel 1-Pluto alignment, though technically the alignment seems to be tightest on 7/30.

Update 8/1: Saudi Arabia's King Fahd died on August 1 (was still 7/31 in some parts of the globe). This is amazingly fitting in that in my June 6 post I directly associated Michael Jackson's 'Judgment' with the Saudi king's death! Here is a quote from that 6/6 post:

...Michael Jackson would quite naturally become Osiris and a Sun-king.

I would also add that Saudi King Fahd's hospitalization late May - now said to be in stable condition - could potentially play a role in this period as well. The oil connection certainly makes it relevant and his death, should it happen, would be quite expressive of the 'Sun king/Babylon leader falling' theme.

What's more amazing, and I should have mentioned this before, is that 7/31-8/01 represents the all-important and STR-driven 'antipodal' 6-month point from... the sudden and first hospitalization of Pope John Paul II on 2/1/05 which was the definite beginning point of his 'final days' - the 'fall of the Sun king' (that I anticipated and followed very closely)!

Please note that by early morning of 7/30, I posted a special bulletin on this website, on the front page (see screenshot below), to announce the importance of the time around 7/31 for the STR.

August 8

Next up is a 'balanced' time code consisting exclusively of Discovery dates, including the projected 8/8 landing date. Two more time codes are shown below, highlighting the same August 8 point. (225/Venus is a major component of the STR, for those who don't know.) [Update 8/1: Comet Tempel 1 figures here again as its crossing of the 270° ecliptic longitude marking the winter-solstice solar position near the Galactic Center in the Milky Way takes place August 8 as seen from the Sun.]

As you can see, yesterday's curious announcement regarding the 'discovery' of the '10th planet' (2003 UB313) - which came just hours after the discovery announced of another big, but smaller than Pluto, celestial body designated '2003 EL61' in our solar system (and many people didn't seem to comprehend that there were two separate discoveries on the same day) - appears to be 'ritualistically designed' to reinforce the focus on 8/8.

Note also that '225 days' from December 8, '04 (marked by the highly 'ritualistic' Damageplan concert shooting in Columbus) goes to the day of the London bombings #2, 7/21/05...

Deep Impact Countdown

Finally, let us combine the two key dates - 7/31 and 8/8 - which will create a new 'balanced' timeline. We find that this pinpoints as the third date... August 16 - none other than the 'impact day' or the 'Great Flood day' chosen in the film Deep Impact! (NASA's Deep Impact was a big event in early July, of course.)

Not only that, these dates are separated by 8 days - i.e. two 8-day segments or... 8-8!

So a 'Deep Impact sequence' this is...

What does this mean?

At this point, what I can say about this is that, basically, there is a coherent pattern here creating a significant 'portal' for one or more major STR events. Whether or not August 8 will be the day - in terms of witnessing something more than Discovery's return - is still a fluid situation I would imagine (especially, perhaps metaphysically speaking, now that the pattern has been 'preempted' in this little corner of the internet), but chances are that the above time code will be a major force, expressed overtly or not, behind what's coming in August (and beyond).

There is a lot more to all this, a larger picture that I plan to talk about soon, so... The rabbit hole is deep indeed and, if you can handle it, we're... going in. :)

Discovery Docks at Space Station, Nine Astronauts Aboard ISS

And we now have...

[Note: I initially implied in this post that there were nine members on Discovery, which was inaccurate. It was a crew of seven - I should have stated, instead, that there were nine astronauts on the ISS when the Discovery crew when aboard. This has now been corrected in this post.]

So this is... fascinating, isn't it? It appears the launch-time 'coincidence' of Discovery and Columbia noted before was just the beginning of a series of time-based clues, or in this case, confirmations of the symbolic pattern already detected.

I could not have made it clearer in my last two posts since July 15, especially the previous one, that the symbolism found encoded in July's world events, including Discovery, had to do with the Holy Grail and naturally its traditional guardians, the Knights Templar. Discovery's docking at the ISS, in particular, was emphasized as a highly 'ritualistic' Grail event. And we just saw a not-too-subtle manifestation of this theme.

The space shuttle docked with the space station at 7:18 am EDT which was 1118 GMT Greenwich Mean Time or in effect 'London Time'. It was in 1118 AD that the Knights Templar - or 'The Order of the Poor Knights of Christ and the Temple of Solomon' - was founded in Jerusalem, at the time having only nine members. Apart from Jesus' and King Arthur's time, this represents the 'Ground Zero' of the semi-historical saga of the 'Holy Grail' and/or its alter ego, 'Ark'. The Templar knights have been popularly regarded as the ultimate protectors of the holy relic, a relic that they seem to have sought and found in the Holy Land while quietly excavating the Temple Mount, the site of the Dome of the Rock and Solomon's Temple.

The combination of 'Rock' and 'Temple', along with the already discussed meteoric nature of the Grail/Ark (stone), strongly resonates with Comet Tempel 1, the comet that was was hit by NASA's Deep Impact just weeks ago on July 4. Seen as 'Temple 1' the comet would represent 'First Temple' as in Solomon's Temple from which the Templars took their name, as well as, via etymology, 'Time 1' as in Greenwich Mean Time which is the time marked by the Prime Meridian passing through London, and the time zone used by Discovery to mark the '1118' point. London is also the historical center of Freemasonry which, particularly through its Scottish Rite branch, inherited a lot of Templar traditions.

I find it very crafty that London was independently highlighted through the nine astronauts - like the nine original Templars - aboard the ISS, by having the Discovery crew's entry into the space station coincide with the recent high-impact time of the 7/7 London Underground bombings (8:50 am).

The Grail, Templars, London, Columbus, Discovery, ISS, Deep Impact/Tempel 1... These have all been shown on this site to coherently interact on a symbolic level to tell a 'Grail story'. And we just had a clear enough 'acknowledgment' of this via the 'sexual' docking of the the space shuttle, using the pre-signaled time-driven code scheme.

It should be noted that the Templars are notable for their apparent Goddess worshipping - be it Mary Magdalene, Isis, Sophia... all of that combined. The Grail is interchangeable with the womb of the Goddess - the 'cup' that received the sacred seed... the 'Royal Blood', i.e. that which the Templar knights were supposedly tasked to protect with their lives.

So this makes having nine astronauts onboard the space-age 'Isis' called 'ISS', at '1118' GMT, very much Templar in nature indeed.

I should also note that Columbia, through its 'Columbus' association, carries an allusion to the medieval order as well. First of all, it is often speculated that the Templars, who were accomplished sailors, had already been visiting the New World before Columbus made his 'First Contact'. And quite possibly he was motivated to make his transatlantic journey based on what he may have learned from the Templars, who were ahead of their time in many ways. Columbus, in fact, was married to the daughter of a former member of the 'Knights of Christ', or the Templar order in Portugal, and probably had access to his information. It is also telling that Columbus crossed the Atlantic under the Templar symbol of the red pattee cross.

Below are select excerpts from my two previous posts, July 15 & 27 - showing  how I was zeroing in on the Grail/Templars theme for and before the Discovery-ISS 'copulation'. [Key words highlighted.]

From July 15 'Initiating 'Deep Impact Sequence'':

As 'lapsit exillis', the Holy Grail ('Royal Blood') is a symbolic form of 'stone fallen from heaven' - a reference to a meteorite, particularly in its capacity as a heavenly 'seed' as per the panspermia process. This notion is very much present in the ancient Egyptian version of the stone, the Benben Stone, the ultimate capstone of the pyramid/obelisk, closely associated with Heliopolis or the 'City of the Sun'. It's a 'Sun Stone' or 'Fire Stone', and all about seeding and copulation.

What Deep Impact highlighted by smashing into Comet Tempel 1 on the July-4th 'torch day' - or a 'Grail day' -  was this theme of the 'heavenly stone'. It was a very fitting and esoteric way of celebrating Lady Liberty i.e. the goddess Mary Magdalene-Isis-Venus.

The name 'Tempel 1' adds more depth to the symbolism. Seen as 'Temple 1', immediately bringing to mind the first Temple in Jerusalem built by Solomon, it alludes to the Ark of the Covenant which the Temple housed. [...]

'Tempel 1' is 'Temple 1' and further, as Alfredo pointed out to me, 'Time 1' since 'temple' and 'time' are probably etymologically related. (Interestingly, the Indo-European root tem- from which Latin templum or 'temple' may have derived, means 'to cut, divide'.) And 'Time 1' would be the Prime Meridian, which officially regulates all time zones on the planet. Today, the international Prime Meridian is the longitude of the Royal Greenwich Observatory or, generally, London, where the 7/7 bombings event took place, coinciding with Tempel 1 crossing the ecliptic. [...]

So - three meridians. Paris, London, and Washington DC. Well, can it be more Masonic or Templar? These are Masonic/Templar 'capitals'.

It is often remarked that the most significant geographical bridge connecting Freemasonry to the Knights Templar is Scotland where the Templars, under attack from the French monarch and the Church, supposedly took shelter, assisted by the sympathetic St. Clair/Sinclair family there. And of course Scotland is where the G8 summit was taking place around 7/7 this year... [...]

From July 27 'Discovery - 'X-Rated' In Space':

The implication of the 'discovery' theme can already be detected through the 'Grail' symbolism attached to Lance and Discovery. Lance was Discovery - thus a Discovery of Lance, i.e. discovery of the 'Grail'. [...]

'Atlantis' is still a vague concept and should not be taken too literally unless contextually justified. It does, however, reinforces the notion that some kind of momentous 'discovery' relatable to the Grail is coming in the near future. And this may interact with the fascinating symbolism of NASA's Deep Impact discussed before. [...]

On July 28, Osiris/Discovery and Isis/ISS will copulate in space - seeding the womb of the goddess in orbit! It's analogous to the union of Jesus and Mary Magdalene that is said to have produced the Royal Blood or the 'Holy Grail'. It's a 'stargate' event that will lead to the birth of the messianic offspring, Horus! [...]

Since my last post on July 15, there have been at least three key 'Super Torch Ritual' events which we need to talk about. One was the second bombings in London closely mimicking, though downgraded in intensity, the first wave on 7/7. And yes, my multicontextual decoding of the London events has now progressed forward significantly - and you'll see that the surreal 'Contact' communication is continuing - as will be reported in another post or more likely in a full-length article.

In this post will be discussed primarily the other two recent STR developments. One of which was the conclusion of the Tour de France in Paris on July 24, Lance Armstrong winning his historic 7th consecutive Tour. The other, the successful launch of the space shuttle Discovery on July 26.

These events are 'designed' to interact with each other on a symbolic level to quietly transmit a certain 'storyline' that can be treated as an 'omen'... i.e. information slightly out of phase with the linear flow of time. This is, in a sense, what constitutes 'Contact', and even though the medium for this 'intertemporal communication' is symbolism - which denotes coherent 'multicontextuality' - one can, if the etheric 'Grail' protocol is followed so to speak, extract shockingly precise and sophisticated information concerning an 'impossible' hidden design. It gets really surreally real and indeed 'magical'. And this is the level of 'Contact' that this website is after.

But, for now, the following is a more general report on the intriguing symbolism found encoded in current world events...

Torch of Discovery

As noted before, we are observing an apparent non-stop torch-relay 'ritual' this summer, taking place at least since the Indy 500 back in May, where Danica was the designated torch-carrying Lucifer/Venus figure. Things got really active in July as we had a number of overlapping 'torch rituals' that were very intense, including the London bombings. But working quietly in the background, filling in all the gaps, was the Tour de France featuring Lance Armstrong as the 'torch bearer'. Lance, like Indy's Danica, was symbolically associated with the Moon (via Neil Armstrong) as well as Venus-Isis-Mary Magdalene (via the 'tower of France' symbolism and the lance-Grail connections etc. discussed before).

And it was already apparent that the 'torch' would subsequently be passed on to the space shuttle Discovery - inevitably part of the 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR). The STR more or less began with the 2004 Super Bowl 'Nippegate' on February 1, which was the anniversary of the shuttle Columbia disaster which in turn was also a major 'omen' in the larger 'ritual complex'. Just as the fall of the Russian space station Mir symbolically prefigured 9/11, Columbia foreshadowed the disastrous US 'Pax Americana' invasion of Iraq. This pattern morphed into what I now call the Super Torch Ritual by the spring of 2004, and so you can see in this context that Discovery launched the other day - the first space shuttle to go up since Columbia - is heavily woven into all this.

NASA actually did a 'cute' thing here (thanks to a reader who brought this to my attention) by matching Discovery's launch time to that of its doomed predecessor, Columbia.

And, as noted previously, the STS-114 mission patch is designed to quietly reinforce the underlying symbolism. This is done by:

• Placing the shuttle outline - with the Columba constellation inside (Noah's dove) - at the North Pole; almost certainly alluding the Great Flood theme. (See previous writings for more on the pole-Flood link.)

• Incorporating the prevalent 'great circle' STR motif or the associated geodetic 'doves-on-the-omphalos' earth-grid symbolism.

  • A meridional great circle, signified by the shuttle's orange 'exhaust', is astro-mythologically identified with the Promethean fire (=> Olympic torch).

  • The 'Spear of Destiny' also known as 'Lance of Loginus' is evoked by the 'Lance' victory that highlighted Paris - the city anchoring the Paris Zero Meridian which is esoterically the 'Rose Line' equatable with the Grail/Mary (interchangeable with the lance). The 'Lance of Longinus' can easily be interpreted as the 'Rose-Line Longitude' (i.e. Paris Meridian).

• 'Acknowledging' the London connection..., London being a Sumatran 'Great Flood' echo event in the STR context and marking the Greenwich Prime Meridian.

So it is only fitting that Lance Armstrong was a man of 'Discovery' this year. As you can see in these pictures, the main sponsor of Lance's team was Discovery Channel...

Lance was Discovery. And just two days after his historic triumph in Paris, the 'meridional' shuttle Discovery - embodying a space-age torch - blasted into outer space...

The implication of the 'discovery' theme can already be detected through the 'Grail' symbolism attached to Lance and Discovery. Lance was Discovery - thus a Discovery of Lance, i.e. discovery of the 'Grail'.

And the Grail is such a heavily multi-layered idea that we can only idly guess at what that could mean. But the 'Grail', in whatever form it chooses to manifest, cannot be anything trivial. By definition it has to be something hidden and of explosive importance.

Again, this is in a way about 'Contact' - a key developing theme already detected in the Super Torch Ritual. But that's still a broad concept.

New World

Perhaps the unresolved problem with Discovery's fuel tank gauge that forced NASA to cancel its first launch attempt back on July 13 may have already begun to yield a symbolic storyline pertaining to the 'Grail' may be.

Seemingly encoded in the Indy 500, if you recall, was the idea of 'going out of gas' - very possibly an allusion to the looming peak oil situation. Was Discovery's fuel tank problem hinting at the same gloomy energy issues as well?

The United States is woefully slow to tackle the problem or to even openly acknowledge it. Seemingly the only high-profile politician actively addressing the issue is... Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California elected to office through an unusual, circus-like 'Total Recall' election in 2003. It's just that he has to, because California has already experienced a few years ago a little 'preview' of what the world will soon be facing. Indeed, it was the Enron-driven energy crisis in California that eventually led to the political demise of Gray Davis, the previous governor, and the rise of the 'Governator'.

Schwarzenegger aka 'the Olympian' has been a major Torch Bearer in the STR as extensively discussed on this website since 2003. Through him, it was quickly noticed, there was a significant amount of reality-Hollywood crossover, the distinction between fiction and real-life rendered almost non-existent - and even that is a concept explored in Arnold's 1993 film 'Last Action Hero'.

The recall election was obviously 'designed' to resonate with 'Total Recall' (1990), which also deals with the subject of reality vs. false reality. He was 'The Running Man' (1982) in a 'Total Recall' election.

Total Recall, however, was also about Mars and controlling/liberating civilization-supporting resources. Air instead of oil/energy. And the character Schwarzenegger plays is a man who liberates Mars by activating a hidden 'alien' technology underground that releases a 'flood' of atmosphere onto the surface of the planet, quickly making it a naturally breathable place.

Mars/space, Contact, crisis and solving of dwindling natural resources... These are key components of the emerging real-life storyline.

Now, the combination of the Great Flood and idea of Contact cannot be separated from the mythological legacy of the 'sons of God' and the 'giants' or the Nephilim told in the Book of Genesis and such. These heavenly 'alien' beings mated with humans on this planet, it is written, and created a hybrid 'fallen angel' race, the Nephilim. The story goes that their apparent 'corruption' then led to the Great Flood that was intended to cleanse the earth of the bad seeds.

The story of the Grail or the Royal Blood concerns the 'underground stream', often thought to be an allusion to a hidden, 'messianic' bloodline coming through Mary Magdalene. She is a Venus, the embodiment of womanhood (with emphasis on sexuality) and thus also an Eve. Eve's partaking of the forbidden 'fruit' thanks to the serpent's encouragement in the Garden of Eden supposedly initiated the 'fall of man' - very much comparable to the Nephilim story. Indeed, the 'fallen angels' are closely associated with the serpent and it doesn't take much imagination to see that the serpent is very phallic in appearance, and thus its interaction with Eve in the Garden had sexual connotations.

So, it could easily be said that the 'Grail' has to do with the union of heaven and earth (which still has many levels of meaning).

It therefore becomes appropriate for space missions, like space shuttles, to express this theme, by in effect bridging heaven and earth. The fall of such space vehicles - e.g. Mir, Columbia, Genesis - is particularly expressive of the same theme for obvious reasons.

'Heaven', though, can also easily refer to the 'ether' or the theoretical non-physical dimensional realm - or 'hyperspace'. Physicality is 'earth' and hyperspace is 'heaven'. Uniting the two, as per the Grail concept, would involve interdimensional energy transfer - which may be called Zero Point Energy that is driven by 'Hyperdimensional Physics'. A revolutionary way, if realized, of generating and controlling energy.

And wouldn't you know it, hyperdimensinoal physics (HDP) apart from the official academic approach, has been popularized by Richard C. Hoagland via his work on... Mars! The new 'alien' physics, claims Hoagland, has much to do with tetrahedral geometric configuration (19.5 deg. etc.) that was found encoded in the apparent ancient 'monuments of Mars' at Cydonia.

And there we have our 'Grail' - at least one aspect of it that's relevant to this this period. It's Total Recall time. There is a civilization-threatening energy crisis developing, and to overcome it we'll ultimately need this 'Grail'. We need to start intelligently interacting with 'heaven' or hyperspace.

But as made abundantly clear in Grail romances, the ultimate discovery has to be earned. The underlying storyline implies that we would have to prove ourselves worthy of acquiring the great power. It's the ultimate challenge... the ultimate 'game'. This is of course the same concept I have applied to the Contact theme. And it's essentially the same thing. Unwise kids shouldn't be playing with fire, to put it another way.

And so we have in this period - the last segment of the current age according to the Mayan calendar - the theme of 'Judgment' going, which is everywhere these days. This is, in a poetic sense, 'Judgment Day' - the very subject of Schwarzenegger's Terminator movie series.

Contact From Atlantis

The Super Torch Ritual, I will say again, appears to be this 'Contact game' - Enki's quiet inquiry or 'test'. And like the diametrically opposing tones of Steven Spielberg's Close Encounter of the Third Kind and War of the Worlds, it can be constructive or destructive... It seems it ultimately depends on what we do. How much we can control our egos. We are being forced into difficult situations, and the 'Watchers' are watching how we behave, so to speak.

Are we worthy of moving into the realm of hyperspace? Are we going to be allowed to go through the 'stargate'? Are we wise enough to handle the 'fire'? Are we intellectually and spiritually fit to go to Mars, the fire planet? Or are we a hopeless, failed experiment?

In the worst case scenario, we can imagine, it would be termination time for human civilization by a 'Great Flood'. If the 'hard drive' is corrupted beyond repair, reformatting the disk is the necessary action to take to restore a fresh state ('Eden'). The corruption has be to dealt with before it can spread via gateways.

And it would be only a matter of allowing our self-destruction which we are very much capable of doing right now. The far-reaching effects of Peak Oil alone, for instance, would be enough to trigger a sudden fall of the current civilization on this planet. So, in the end, if we are to fall, we will probably do so by foolishly falling off a cliff which need not happen.

This combination of exotic technology and the termination of a civilization brings to mind the legend of Atlantis. Often associated with mysterious monuments such as those at Giza that seem to hint at some kind of gravity-control - i.e. hyperspatial - knowledge, the supposed antediluvian high civilization was destroyed in a 'Great Flood'-like cataclysm. In this scenario, the survivors of the Atlantean termination event, in possession of great knowledge, correspond to the 'fallen angels'/Nephilim and the 'underground stream' passing the 'torch' of knowledge/seed forward under the surface of the mainstream postdiluvian 'history'. And with them would be the 'Holy Grail' that is the knowledge of how to harness hyperdimensional energy. And they would be the 'Watchers' - presumably in the process of making 'Contact' with those 'above surface' at this time in a repeat of the story of Enki-Saturn-Prometheus covertly communicating in non-specialized ways with those who can 'hear his voice', informing them of the coming 'Flood' and how to 'build an ark' or a 'stargate'.

As detailed in the Book of Enoch, the Watchers - or the Sumerian 'Annunaki' - themselves were divided into two basic factions - the rebellious faction and the faction composed of the rest. So the story can get quite complex, and as everything else it has many levels and taking it too literally would be a sure way to get into a 'trap'. (Same with the Bible and such.)

But, essentially, it's about connecting two worlds that are normally separated - heaven and earth, the 'Watchers' and humans, the unconscious and consciousness, hyperspace and our four-dimensional space-time. And perhaps it could be said that opening portal between the two realms is analogous to opening the water-gate and, if not done very carefully, that will lead to a 'Great Flood' or great destruction. The gating process would have to be tight controlled or the newly tapped energy would break the 'dam' and destroy everything in its path - just as the careless union of the 'sons of God' and 'daughters of men', i.e. heaven and earth, gave rise to the terrible 'giants' (Nephilim) that was followed by the Great Flood.

So I would view 'Atlantis' as basically a code word for the period around the time of a civilization figuring out how to access 'the other side'... how to reach heaven. The rise of our space program in the 20th century, therefore, has made us an 'Atlantean' culture already. We're already building the 'Tower of Babel'. And the Tower, like the rise of the Nephilim, is traditionally countered by a 'Judgment' event - the project blocked by a higher power. Interestingly, the modern 'Tower of Babel' in NYC the modern 'Babylon', the WTC twin towers, were destroyed in 2001 - the year associated with space via '2001: A Space Odyssey', a story about humans finding 'monoliths' that represent that which advances human evolution. And its sequel, '2010: The Year We Make Contact', is is blatantly about Contact. The 2001-2010 timeframe here gives us an important storyline context as well.

It could be inferred that the 2001-2010 period is designed to signify in the storyline a 'gateway' - or when the rising 'Atlantis' is 'judged'. A time of 'Contact' can easily transformed into a time of the 'Great Flood' as we've seen. So... again the implication would be that it's an intense 'test period'.

2005, and perhaps 2006 as well, is the halfway point of the 'Judgment' period, important especially in the context of the 1998-2012 Mayan 'end of time' segment often discussed here. The notion of midpoint - applicable also to Peak Oil - denotes 'balance' and thus also the idea of 'justice', related to 'judgment'. It is in this context that current world events, particularly those of June-July (the halfway point of the middle year), become symbolically meaningful.

So for instance, it certainly seems more than happy coincidence that the mission patch of the space shuttle Discovery is very 'Atlantean'.

The blue ring around the blackened earth makes it look like Saturn - the god/planet closely associated with the mythology of Atlantis. 'Ogygia', another name for the antediluvian world, for instance, corresponds to the resting place of Saturn-Kronos ('Ogygion') that is apparently beyond space-time (i.e. hyperspace). And the ring's crossing point with the orange 'Spear/Lance' meridian is marking the Caribbean which is not only where Columbus (=> Columbia/Columba) made First Contact with the New World but also a region popularly thought to have been where Atlantis once occupied.

Along with the Promethean fire and Flood allusions detected in the insignia, it resonates strongly with the underlying symbolic theme of this period, with emphasis on Atlantis. And 'Atlantis' is of course the name of one of the space shuttles. In fact, Atlantis (STS-121) is to go up right after Discovery, already scheduled for a mission in September.

So, we have here 'Discovery (of) Atlantis'. A key symbolic context to keep in mind in this period then...

14th Piece of Osiris

'Atlantis' is still a vague concept and should not be taken too literally unless contextually justified. It does, however, reinforces the notion that some kind of momentous 'discovery' relatable to the Grail is coming in the near future. And this may interact with the fascinating symbolism of NASA's Deep Impact discussed before. Through Hollywood, indeed, 'Deep Impact' is about a 'Great Flood' and heaven and earth coming together...

NASA's Deep Impact mission, on a 'torch day' (July 4), struck a heavenly rock called Comet Tempel 1, bringing to life the same heaven-earth unification theme. The heavenly rock would signify the 'Grail stone' (Eschenbach's lapsit exillis, 'stone fallen from heaven') which is also the omphalos, Benben, and philosopher's stone - i.e. essentially meteorites. In the ancient Egyptian context, the stone (Benben) is the seed and identified with the fire-bird phoenix which in turn is identified with the soul of Osiris, the god of the underworld and resurrection. Osiris is at the heart of the ancient Egyptian mythology and was closely associated with the Zep Tepi or 'First Time' - an Eden-like period, comparable to Atlantis, that ended long before the time of the Egyptians. Osiris is also a form of Saturn-Prometheus as well as messianic figures like Jesus and such.

In other words, Osiris pretty much embodies not only the Grail/Atlantean symbolism attached to the idea of 'discovery' we have going here but also the entire Super Torch Ritual. Indeed, his death-birth resurrection cycle expressed by the phoenix as well as Osiris' death always coming with the birth of his son Horus - thus constantly moving between the two realms (this world and the 'other side') - is evocative of the 'Grail'/'stargate' technology that unites normal space-time and hyperspace.

And the 'intelligence' responsible for the STR design did seem to have encoded Osiris into the Discovery 'ritual'. Here is what Etemenankian Linnie astutely observed:

[...] I think this is important...

'Ancient phallus unearthed in cave'

I strongly feel that this discovery being announced now is a coded message indicating that the 'lost phallus of Osiris' (the 'talisman of Set') has been found and that now Horus can be conceived. Odd how it was announced on the eve of the launching of Discovery!

What really convinces me is this paragraph:

'The Tübingen team working Hohle Fels already had 13 fractured parts of the phallus in storage, but it was only with the discovery of a 14th fragment last year that they were able finally to work out the "jigsaw".'

In the myth about the death of Osiris, he was torn into 14 pieces. Isis managed to find 13 of them, but not the 14th piece, which was unfortunately the all-important phallus. Thoth/Enki provided one for her to use according to certain versions. But can you see the connection, 'the discovery of the 14th fragment!' In other words, they are saying that they have found and are in possession of the lost phallus of Osiris.

I saw that this storyline jived perfectly with the STS-114 insignia - the phallic depiction of the shuttle (and the shuttle itself is already very phallic) and the eye-catching red circle replacing the letter 'o' in the name 'Noguchi' (in the ring). The latter is a clear enough reference to Horus who embodies the rising sun, as Noguchi is from Japan or the 'Land of the Rising Sun'. The conception of Horus through Osiris' 14th piece indeed.

The fact that it was the BBC headquartered in London that prominently featured the seemingly obscure phallus story may be another clue here. For instance, we see that fourteen days separates London's two near-identical bombing, July 7 and 21, targeting London Underground whose symbol is seemingly mimicked by the STS-114 patch. These bombings preceded the 'meridional' STR events of Lance's triumph in Paris and the launch of Discovery, resonating with London having the function of anchoring the Prime Meridian. Further, according to Plutarch ('On Isis and Osiris'), Osiris' murder took place on the 17th day of the third month. The ancient Egyptians month was exactly 30 days, which means Osiris' death came on the 77th day of the year. 'Seven seven' is of course none other than the numeric signature of London's 7/7 bombings (and two sevens make 14).

The '77' connection additionally supports my previous interpretation that London 7/7 carried an allusion to another major meridian, that of Washington DC ('District of Columbia'), which is 77 deg. West. This particular meridian, in fact, seems to be signified by the orange 'exhaust' of Discovery in the Discovery insignia.

We further note that there were exactly 14 days from July 13, the original target Discovery launch day, to July 26, when the shuttle was actually launched.

So... intriguing symbolism all around. But here is what's coming up that's just so 'ritualistic'... and 'X-rated'. :)

Discovery, representing the Osirian phallus or the '14th piece', is scheduled to dock with the International Space Station or ISS on July 28. Well, try pronouncing 'ISS' without making it sound like 'Isis'. The difference is negligible. The ISS, then, is Osiris' sister-wife Isis, the one who magically resurrected Osiris and got herself impregnated using the... '14th piece'. Get the drift?

On July 28, Osiris/Discovery and Isis/ISS will copulate in space - seeding the womb of the goddess in orbit! It's analogous to the union of Jesus and Mary Magdalene that is said to have produced the Royal Blood or the 'Holy Grail'. It's a 'stargate' event that will lead to the birth of the messianic offspring, Horus!

What that conception and eventual birth of Horus will prompt to manifest down here on earth as per 'as above, so below' is an important question for us to ponder.  For now, consider this: the 'Grail' impregnation is analogous to the heaven-earth union initiated by the 'sons of God' that gave rise to the hybrid, 'hero' race of the Nephilim. Horus - related to the term 'hero', denoting a 'race between men and the gods' - corresponds to the Nephilim. (This same concept, by the way, is also 'encoded' in the latest Harry Potter - 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' - release July 16, which as discussed previously is a key component of the July STR 'communication'.) And that traditionally leads to the Great Flood. It could even be said that Isis' 'water breaking' at the time of the birth of Horus would be expressive of the Flood.

Generally speaking, then, we can expect some kind of 'Deep Impact' in the coming months. I'll of course have much more on this later - including the decoding of the London events.

At this moment Comet Tempel 1 should be just a little past the point of crossing the plane of Mars' orbit (or slightly outside of it) - going below the planetary path.

This is the comet that NASA's Deep Impact 'impactor' struck last Monday, July 4, followed by it crossing the Mars orbital path (viewed from directly above) and the ecliptic July 5-7, which coincided with our key date July 6 and the July-7th London bombings.

A key context here is that right now the 'torch' of the 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR) continuously being passed forward is being carried by the Tour de France in the background (July 2-24) and in the foreground by NASA's space shuttle returning to space for the first time since the highly symbolic Columbia disaster on February 1, 2003, which was a major 'omen' in the context of the STR. Columbia being analogous to Columba (constellation) the Dove of Noah carrying a olive branch in its beak, it prefigured among other things - such as the disaster of the 'Pax Americana'-driven US Iraq invasion and the rise of a new pope (prophetically dubbed 'the glory of the olive') - the prevalent 'Great Flood' theme, quite literally manifesting last December in the form of a catastrophic southeast-Asia quake and tsunami.

It's not just the original target launch date of Discovery, July 13, that is 'ritualistic' here but it's also the fact that mid-July marks the 6-month point from the landing of Huygens on one of Saturn's moon Titan. This was on January 14 and so calendrically around July 14 is the exact opposite/'antipodal' point - an important theme in the currently active 'time codes' closely tracked on this site.

Saturn is the 'lord of the ring', Prometheus the fire-giver, as well as Enki the savior of 'Noah'; and in Greek mythology the Titans are the elder gods led by Saturn-Cronus who opposed, along with Gigantes (giants) and such, the younger Olympian gods led by Zeus. In the sense that Saturn was the ruler of the Golden Age, his fall in the great war would easily signify the end of that age and beginning of the next one, the Silver Age, ruled by Zeus.

Technically speaking, it is the Bronze Age that is explicitly described as being destroyed by a great flood. But conceptually each shift of the ages takes place through a large- scale destruction analogous to the Great Flood. It is therefore fitting that the Titans/Gigantes could correspond to the 'giants' in the Book of Genesis (the Nephilim) as their very brief appearance is as the source of great corruption that directly led to the biblical Great Flood.

So attached to the space shuttle Discovery, through timing, is the same idea of the Great Flood expressed previously by Columbia.

But there is more to the symbolism...

The modern Great Flood last December was a monster earthquake near Sumatra generating a major tsunami, killing over 240,000 people. Sumatra's ancient name, Swarna Dwipa, means 'Isle of Gold' and hence its massive destruction was aptly symbolic of the end of the Golden Age expressed by the war between the Titans and the Olympians - traditionally known as 'Titanomachy'. It is also easily interchangeable with the destruction of the legendary ancient civilization Atlantis.

Now, Atlantis - known to us mostly through Plato's writings - is usually thought of as having its city arranged in the shape of concentric circles, which in this context brings to mind the alchemical symbol for gold (as in the 'Golden Age' and 'Isle of Gold') which is a circle with a dot at its center. And quake shockwaves, or the waves of a tsunami, are typically depicted as concentric circles...

There is also the geodetic 'great circle' expressing the same motif, which is now a major theme that has emerged through Sumatra.

This STR 'signature' configuration was first detected at the closing ceremony of the Athens Olympics late- August last year which featured a big enigmatic spiral reminiscent of the beginning point of the 'Yellow Brick Road' in The Wizard of Oz.

It was then followed by U2's new CD with their 'Vertigo' video, and the Damageplan concert shooting 'ritual' in Columbus, Ohio containing unmistakable Wizard of Oz references. The latter encoded a geodetic 'message' and was eventually decoded to pinpoint the epicenter of Sumatra - weeks before it happened - through the use of great circles. Columbus - a name related to Columba/Columbia - is exactly 180 degrees away in longitude from the Sumatra epicenter for starters, and Damageplan was originally (more or less) a band called Pantera to evoke in this context 'Pan Terra' or 'whole earth'. In other words, a planetary-scale geodetic puzzle disclosing a 'damage plan' was hiding just beneath the surface. (All this stuff is extensively discussed here.)

U2, and particularly Bono, is one of the prominent pop-culture figures heavily woven into the 'Super Torch Ritual' along with other musicians such as Paul McCartney. We've already discussed the symbolic significance of McCartney's major presence at the Live 8 concert in London July 2, but U2 was there as well and had an equally important and perhaps more relevant presence. In fact, U2/Bono opened the concert in London with McCartney, performing together. Again, as you can see in the picture below, the concentric-circle theme was hard to miss.

Live 8 was one of the major events considered embodying a 6-month echo stemming from the Sumatra 'Great Flood', just as mid-July represents an echo window for Huygens' Titan landing, which too is closely associated with the Flood as we've seen.

How fitting is it, then, that brought onboard to the Saturnian moon was, among many other scientific instruments, a concentric-circle symbol in the form of the Music2Titan logo? (And, yes, it has to do with music.) Compare it with U2's 'Vertigo' video screenshot above. The resemblance is uncanny, especially given the shared underlying context.

The symbolism gets thicker: While the ancient tale of Titanomachy (the Titan-Olympian war) has survived only in Hesiod's Theogony, there is a passing reference to a lost work on Titanomachy in an essay falsely attributed to Plutarch called De Musica or 'On Music'! (Music again...) Here is the relevant passage:

'About the same time, Heraclides says, Linus of Euboea was composing dirges, Anthes of Anthedon in Boeotia was composing hymns, and Pieros of Pieria his poems about the Muses, while Philammon of Delphi recounted in songs the wanderings of Leto and the birth of Artemis and Apollo, and was the first to establish choruses at the temple of Delphi. Thamyris, a Thracian by birth, sang more melodiously [1132b] and with a more beautiful voice than anyone else in those days, which led him to compete, so the poets say, in a contest against the Muses. He is also said to have composed a piece on the war of Titans against the gods. [...]' [On Music, 1132a-b]

So there is a very coherent pattern here and woven into it is the concept of music for some reason. Why music? I have already pointed out its connection to the idea of 'Contact', interacting for instance with the film War of the Worlds released late June. But there is likely more to this... which we won't go into here.

Now, back to Discovery - its launch was canceled on July 13 due to a technical glitch involving the fuel tank and NASA originally stated that the earliest the shuttle would be ready again was Saturday, July 16, before pushing it back to Sunday, as reported yesterday. And now it looks more like the launch will come sometime next week. If it comes sometime between July 19-21 as it seems likely (7/19 being my first pick), we'll have July 16-17 as the 'ritualistically' important midpoint as counted from July 13. And there is a reason I'm focusing on these dates, as mentioned briefly in my July 5 post:

If viewed laterally, Comet Tempel 1 will go under Mars' orbital path/plane on July 13 - the target day for the launch of NASA's space shuttle Discovery. July 16 is another key date but I'll discuss that one in another post. This is just the tip of the iceberg. [emphasis added]

On July 16-17:

• Mars reaches perihelion, when the Red Planet is closest to the Sun in its orbit. (7/16-17)

• There is a Sun-Mercury-Comet Tempel 1 alignment. (7/16-17)

• The Tour de France cyclists cross the Paris Meridian ('Rose Line') on July 16. They crossed it previously on July 6 - another key date - and they will cross it again on July 21.

• The latest Harry Potter book, 'Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince', is released on July 16.

Harry Potter? Yes, Harry Potter - I'm not kidding. :) Now, just think about it: it's a perfect pop-culture vehicle through which a 'hidden signal' can be transmitted to anyone out there who can potentially detect and decipher such hidden communication. It's like The Wizard of Oz and The Da Vinci Code - a very popular mysterious and imaginative story that bridges this and the 'other' world. It's the 'looking-glass' that enables substantive 'transdimensional' communication, so to speak. Compared to other kinds of stories which can be viewed as slow modems, it's a high-speed broadband connection ideal for high-voltage multicontextual information-seeding that is 'Contact'.

Bringing Harry Potter into this seems so silly because it's so pop culture, so much so that even the Pope has commented on it, but actually that is exactly why it's a great candidate to be used as a 'Contact' medium (and I'm definitely not saying that the author of the Harry Potter series is aware of such a scheme or anything like that). The more creativity involved, the more 'interdimensional' the product becomes. It turns into, in a way, a 'magnet' for 'coincidences' and such.

Now, just to give the reader a taste of what's going on with Harry Potter within the STR context, let me mention the following...

Geographically, the 7/7 London bombings took place generally along the Circle Line of the London Underground. There were three train explosions and two of which were traveling on the Circle Line. In 'Circle Line' we already detect the familiar motif of circles. But there is also another major STR theme present here, that of 'midpoint', closely associated with the 'Judgment Day' concept in the STR scheme. All three trains that were bombed went through King's Cross, and the station actually marks the exact halfway point between the two trains that went in opposite directions on the Circle Line (they left King's Cross at about the same time).

The third train, by the way, was #311. Yes, that 'Judgment Day' number! If you recall, '311' was already found to interact heavily with the window surrounding the 7/7 bombings. What are the odds...

So King's Cross represents the all-important midpoint. In Harry Potter books, King's Cross is where students get on the 'Hogwarts Express' to go to the 'other world' of magic and wizardry. In other words, it's analogous to Alice's looking-glass or Dorothy's twister. It's the 'dimensional gateway'.

Fittingly, the Hogwarts Express uses a secret platform '9¾' between platform 9 and 10, invisible to normal humans. '9¾' is 9.75 or, treating it as a time reference (sexagesimal system), 9 and 45 - giving us 9:45.

The three trains exploded almost simultaneously at 8:50 am. But there was one more bombing - that of a double-decker bus - that came nearly an hour later. (The plan may have been for the bus to explode at King's Cross but the bus was following a diversion from its normal route.) The time was... 9:47 - practically the same as that magical ' 9¾' time.

Combining these and other factors, the 7/7 bombings that disrupted the first full-day session of the G8 summit in Scotland was, in a way, a 'stargate' event, as well as 'Contact'. Incidentally, as a couple of readers pointed out to me, 'G8' can be read as 'G-eight' or 'Gate'.

There is more to the apparent 'Harry Potter cipher', of course. But pertinent here for the time being is the fact that the new Harry Potter will be released on July 16. A planetary alignment involving Comet Tempel 1 coming up July 16-17... And because Tempel 1 already time-stamped ~July 7 by crossing the ecliptic at that time, the comet in effect becomes a bridge connecting the 7/16 release of Harry Potter and the 7/7 bombings.

Well, as you know, Deep Impact's celestial fireworks show was back on July 4 - Independence Day, which was obviously a major 'torch day', signified by the torch of the Statue of Liberty. Lady Liberty in turn is a form of Mary Magdalene, Venus, or Isis... i.e. generally 'the Goddess'. And Grail tradition holds that Mary Magdalene brought the 'Royal Blood' (= 'Rose Line' or 'Holy Grail') to southern France sometime after the crucifixion of Jesus. France is exactly where the Statue of Liberty - and the spirit of liberty - came from as a gift.

Mary Magdalene is also invoked by the Tour de France that started on the 'middle day' of the year, July 2 - the same day as 1) Live 8's 'Long Walk To Justice' targeting G8, 2) Venus Williams winning Wimbledon in London, 3) Danica Patrick, another torch-carrying 'Venus'/'morning star' figure, winning pole position for an Indy race in Kansas (where 'Dorothy' lived), and 4) the second anniversary of the release of Terminator 3 featuring 'the Olympian' Schwarzenegger in which was found encoded a '311' time cue associated with 'Judgment Day'. Mary-Venus-Isis is Lucifer the light/torch-bearer as well as to some extent Lady Justice, so those 'middle day' events share a common theme.

Le Tour is particularly evocative of Mary Magdalene in that 'Tour de France' can be interpreted as 'tower of France' ('tour' and tower' are etymologically related) and the title 'Magdalene' means 'tower'. A 'tower in France' is therefore 'Magdalene in France'. Le Tour, furthermore, traditionally ends at the heart of France's capital, Paris, the city of Isis ('Par-Isis'). Paris in Greek mythology is associated with the torch. And Paris anchors the historically and esoterically important Paris Zero Meridian, or 'Rose Line', embodying the 'Royal Blood' flowing from/through 'Mary Magdalene'.

As 'lapsit exillis', the Holy Grail ('Royal Blood') is a symbolic form of 'stone fallen from heaven' - a reference to a meteorite, particularly in its capacity as a heavenly 'seed' as per the panspermia process. This notion is very much present in the ancient Egyptian version of the stone, the Benben Stone, the ultimate capstone of the pyramid/obelisk, closely associated with Heliopolis or the 'City of the Sun'. It's a 'Sun Stone' or 'Fire Stone', and all about seeding and copulation.

What Deep Impact highlighted by smashing into Comet Tempel 1 on the July-4th 'torch day' - or a 'Grail day' -  was this theme of the 'heavenly stone'. It was a very fitting and esoteric way of celebrating Lady Liberty i.e. the goddess Mary Magdalene-Isis-Venus.

The name 'Tempel 1' adds more depth to the symbolism. Seen as 'Temple 1', immediately bringing to mind the first Temple in Jerusalem built by Solomon, it alludes to the Ark of the Covenant which the Temple housed. The Ark, according to tradition, held inside stone tablets (of Moses) which are sometimes theorized to have been meteorites, i.e. heavenly stones. So that reinforces the underlying symbolism.

The Temple was built on the summit of the Temple Mount, also called 'Mount Moriah'. On TV, the July 4th celebration in the US prominently featured Mariah Carey - or should that be 'Moriah carry' or 'Ark carrier'? - who was shown performing three songs for the Macy's Fireworks Spectacular in New York. (She performed at London's Live 8 concert two days before.) This came at a time when her single 'We Belong Together' was the nation's #1 song, her first in five years, and her 16th #1 single - '16' being, of course, a key STR number. To refresh your memory: Danica's Indy car is #16; Venus Williams was ranked 16th in the world when she won the Wimbledon tournament on July 2; and the new pope is also a '16', Benedict XVI. So that's... amusing. And it makes pretty good sense, because the tarot card numbered 16 is the 'Tower card'.

The Ark being more or less interchangeable with an 'arc', it also alludes to the earth's grid or great circles (for meridians and the equator). And of course the heavenly stone, particularly as the omphalos (navel) stone shown with two doves perched on it, is said to be the standard glyph meaning 'to lay out parallels and meridians'. One of the meanings of 'Magdalene' happens to be 'the place of the dove'.

So viewed together, we can't help but start paying attention to the Paris Zero Meridian, the longitudinal great circle passing through Paris, signifying the 'Rose Line' or the Grail (stone) - i.e. the meridian to be crossed by the Tour/Tower de France cyclists on July 16, when in the sky will be formed the alignment of the Sun, Mercury and Tempel 1.

But it's not just the Paris Meridian... We are also 'instructed' to pay attention to another meridian, or the Prime Meridian, i.e. that of Greenwich/London.

'Tempel 1' is 'Temple 1' and further, as Alfredo pointed out to me, 'Time 1' since 'temple' and 'time' are probably etymologically related. (Interestingly, the Indo-European root tem- from which Latin templum or 'temple' may have derived, means 'to cut, divide'.) And 'Time 1' would be the Prime Meridian, which officially regulates all time zones on the planet. Today, the international Prime Meridian is the longitude of the Royal Greenwich Observatory or, generally, London, where the 7/7 bombings event took place, coinciding with Tempel 1 crossing the ecliptic.

'7/7' is an additional key clue here sine it seems to allude to the halfway point of the 'Mayan final time segment', 1998-2012, which would be 2005. (And the midpoint of the year 2005 was July 2.) This is made more relevant here by the fact that the Greenwich/London Prime Meridian doesn't represent the leading edge of the planetary time zones. A new day actually starts on the opposite side of the globe, which means London's Prime Meridian is a noon-marker, or... the halfway time-marker.

So we now have two key meridians highlighted - those of London/Greenwich and Paris. Two longitudinal great circles... intersecting at the earth's poles.

Now, as noted in Hamlet's Mill, the Promethean fire, signified by the Olympic torch, is a coded reference to 'a great circle reaching from one celestial pole to the other'. Thus, our two meridional great circles are expressive of two 'rings of fire'. This brings to mind this scene from the Athens Olympics...

And of course it was on July 6, the day before the 7/7 London bombings, that London and Paris found themselves in a two-way battle in the final round of the IOC voting trying to decide which city will host the 2012 'Mayan' Olympics! London eventually came out victorious but the celebration lasted only a day, thanks to yet another 'Mayan ritual event' striking London on 7/7.

There is, through the '7/7' symbolism, actually another meridian being highlighted here - that of Washington DC, which is 77 degrees West. That is, a '7-7' meridian! It's a historically significant longitude and has even been dubbed 'God's Longitude'.

So - three meridians. Paris, London, and Washington DC. Well, can it be more Masonic or Templar? These are Masonic/Templar 'capitals'.

It is often remarked that the most significant geographical bridge connecting Freemasonry to the Knights Templar is Scotland where the Templars, under attack from the French monarch and the Church, supposedly took shelter, assisted by the sympathetic St. Clair/Sinclair family there. And of course Scotland is where the G8 summit was taking place around 7/7 this year...

What's more, a well-known Masonic symbol, printed on the back of the US dollar bill, is the 'All-Seeing Eye', which is a stylized Benben Stone or the meteoric capstone of the pyramid.

This symbol also appears on the cover of a new CD coming out on August 16, titled 'Don't Tread On Me'. (Thanks to a reader for bringing this to my attention.)

This is by a band called... '311'! And their biggest mainstream hit song would be one titled 'Amber'. Remember the 'orange' sub-theme associated with the 'Judgment Day' motif closely associated with the number '311'? Amber is an orange-yellow color...

The significance of 'orange', you may recall, seems to have much to do with its cryptic allusion to the combination of the Sun, Mercury, and Venus. And we have seen that an alignment of these three - dubbed the 'Double-Sun Orange' - appears to have an important function of marking key dates/events (particularly relating to the idea of the 'fall/judgment of the Sun-king').

The celestial alignment coming up July 16-17 is similar to this - but we have Comet Tempel 1 in the mix instead of Venus. However, because of Tempel 1's close symbolic link to Mary Magdalene-Isis-Venus discussed above, it could easily be viewed that the comet is an apt substitute for Venus in the alignment. This is definitely a context that may prove fruitful when interpreting mid-July events.

Oh, and the release date of the 'Don't Tread On Me' CD, August 16? It's none other than the 'Deep Impact day', when a comet hits Earth - causing a 'Great Flood' - in the the 1998 film... Deep Impact.

There is a lot here that collectively constitute an 'omen'. In the STR context, 'omens' - the major ones - come in the form of man-made structure falling from the sky that is associated with the notion of 'peace'. In 2001, months before 9/11, it was the Russian space station Mir - decommissioned and made to fall down to earth on March 23. The name 'Mir' means both 'peace' and 'world'. The end of Mir therefore signified the 'end of world peace', realized months later on 9/11 - which happened to be the International Peace Day.

In 2003, it was the space shuttle Columbia breaking apart upon reentry on February 1. The name 'Columbia' can mean 'America' as well as 'peace' (Columbia => Columba => dove => peace). The following month the US-led Iraq invasion began - driven by the imperial PNAC neoconservative agenda envisioning a Pax Americana, or 'American Peace'. Like the shuttle Columbia, it ended up becoming a (predictable) disaster for both Iraq and the United States.

Then in the fall of 2004 came NASA's Genesis space capsule returning from the Sun after collecting a solar-wind sample. It failed to open its parachute and crashed into the Utah desert on September 8 - less than 2 weeks after the end of the Athens Olympics. Very much in line with the symbolic panspermia (cosmic seeding) theme of the Olympics, Genesis was a near-literal reenactment of the fall of the 'Sun Stone', i.e. the Benben/omphalos/Grail Stone or the 'All-Seeing Eye'. And Utah's capital, Salt Lake City, was the site of the 2002 Winter Olympics where a DNA-shaped torch tower was erected (DNA being the ultimate expression of a 'seed').

Exactly three months later on December 8, 2004, there was a follow-up to the 'solar seed stone' ritual, coming in a more stylized form - the Damageplan concert shooting in Columbus, Ohio. 'Columbus', of course, is a variant of Columbia/Columba thus related to the foregoing 'omens'. And the strange flag of Ohio is - as you can see right - a stylized All-Seeing Eye capstone surrounded by a negative-space 'M' denoting Mary Magdalene or the 'dove' - i.e. like the standard omphalos symbol meaning 'to lay out parallels and meridians'.

Sure enough, this 'omen' system was answered by the very 'Genesis'-inspired modern 'Great Flood' event in southeast Asia just weeks after Columbus/Damageplan; it was pinpointed by Columbus' meridional great circle and the parallel great circle (always fixed at the equator) on the other side of the globe.

And now, in 2005, we just had the Deep Impact fireworks on a 'torch day', which was quite similar to the Genesis crash especially when the storyline of the film 'Deep Impact' is taken into account (i.e. a heavenly stone colliding with Earth). This time, a real comet was employed in the 'omen ritual'.

That this was a STR 'omen' was made clearer through the attached theme of 'peace'. Tempel 1 is 'Temple 1' or 'Solomon's Temple', and 'Solomon' means none other than 'peace'!

What kind of real-life 'deep impact' are we in for this time around? Well, I have a lot to say about this and I will, perhaps in increments, in the near future. But in a sense, the 7/7 London bombings coming just days after Deep Impact hitting Tempel 1 was already a... let's say the beginning of a 'Deep Impact sequence' that will continue further into 2005... We're looking at something major in the November-December timeframe. I mean, I'm seeing the time code... and it's there.

As far as the July 16-17 window (+/- 1 day) is concerned, I'm viewing it as another maker in the 'Deep Impact Sequence'. This is already manifesting through the release of the new Harry Potter book on July 16. In addition to the 7/7 connection already discussed, Harry Potter makes its relevance known  through the fact that the series' very first book was named (outside of the US) 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'. The 'Philosopher's Stone' is traditionally an alter ego of all the heavenly stones discussed in this post! So Comet Tempel 1, for instance, is symbolically a Philosopher's Stone.

And we'll of course monitor the space shuttle's imminent 'Return To Flight'...

Now, is that in the STS-114 mission patch a stylized great circle that I see? And an orange meridional great circle? (Click on the image to see a bigger version.)

The blue 'great circle' makes the planet more like Saturn and the orange color alludes to Saturn's orange moon, Titan. The Flood theme reemerging again? Indeed, we see that inside the shuttle outline in the patch is depicted the constellation of Columba (Noah's dove) and the shuttle is even marking the North Pole, which is mythologically associated with the heavenly (cubic) stone having the function of stopping the Great Flood! Here is what I wrote in Contact: In the Ring of Fire:

A meridional great circle, or the 'fire colure', necessarily goes through the poles, but there are two amazing further correlations employed here. One is that the function of stopping the Flood water ascribed to the Benben/Omphalos Stone, which is a capstone or in effect a 'pole stone' symbolically used to pinpoint the Sumatran Great Flood, was also given to the Pole Star. As noted in Hamlet's Mill (p.219):

According to the Mongolians, the Pole star is "a pillar from the firm standing of which depends the correct revolving of the world, or a stone which closes an opening; if the stone is pulled out, water pours out of the opening to submerge the earth."

Continuing with the book, we have the following concerning the cubic shape (pp.222-3):

The cube was Saturn's figure, as Kepler showed in his Mysterium Cosmographicum; this is the reason for the insistence on cubic stones and cubic arks. Everywhere, the power who warns "Noah" and urges him to build his ark is Saturn, as Jehovah, as Enki, as Tane, etc.

And where are the great circles marking on the globe, as per 'X marks the spot'?

The Caribbean, or the West Indies. This is where Columbus made 'First Contact' with the New World... i.e. yet another manifestation of the 'Columba' theme! The region also includes Cuba - evoking 'cube' - and this is one of the prominent places theorized - by Andrew Collins for instance - to correspond to Plato's Atlantis, the legendary island destroyed in a 'Great Flood'.

The West Indies is also the 'opposite' of the East Indies (South and Southeast Asia), where last December's 'Great Flood' took place on Boxing Day (or a 'cube day').

So it's, seemingly, all about the 'Great Flood' now. And that cannot be not dramatic when/if manifested in physical reality.

Well, all this is a very active and ingenious 'Contact' game and we're here trying to keep up with the Hermetic communication. The more deciphered/communicated, the less physical the manifestation of the pattern will be - in my view.

So, more coming and at this point I have only scratched the surface!

'Super Torch Ritual' strikes...

Timing

Here is a timeline chart from Contact: In the Ring of Fire posted on this website (Etemenanki) on June 22 pinpointing this very period, late-June/early-July, as a major 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR) window...

This window is driven by what I would call an 'antipodal' 6-month echo STR 'Judgment Day' time code, with June 28 being a key date anchoring the window, 'designed' to 'echo' last December's catastrophic Sumatran 'Great Flood'.

In the 'Judgment Day'-related time codes, the notion of midpoint, equidistant, or balanced is very prominent, making July 2 a significant date as a result. I wrote in the same 'Contact' article:

Seeing that July 2 is the 'middle day' marking the midpoint of the year and seeing its proximity to June 28, I felt it was to be used as the midpoint of a secondary window. [...] an apparent further clue was coming in the form of Live 8 concerts, featuring many big names around the world scheduled for July 2.

[...] the Live 8 slogan, 'The Long Walk To Justice' [represents] an unmistakable echo of the Judgment theme. 

Live 8 had its main concert in London and there were many reasons for it to be a major STR event. But more on the 'time code':

[Live 8's] early-July timing is designed to closely precede G8 Summit set to begin on July 6. The 4-day separation here becomes more meaningful as we realize that June 28 comes exactly 4 days before Live 8 or the 'middle day' (July 2). 8 days in all - a fact seemingly acknowledged by the titles 'Live 8' and 'G8'. Even its logo, showing a bisected '8', appears to allude to this 'bisected' 8-day time code.

(Note: In some parts of the world it was still July 6 at the time of the London bombings due to time-zone differences.)

Here is a quick summary of the 'bisected 8-day window':

I find it significant that the London bombings targeted trains for the most part, like last year's Madrid terror day on 3/11. Madrid '311' has long been a major STR 'Judgment Day' theme and is now having a quite clear echo in London. Not only did we have Madrid-like bombings, we had July 6 - technically a day before the bombings - marking exactly '311' days after the closing ceremony of the Athens Olympic, and on July 6 London itself was all about the Olympics, having been selected on that day to to host the 2012 Games. Collectively it was all an intense 'Super Torch Ritual' development.

Another time-marker in early July was NASA's Deep Impact colliding with Comet Tempel 1 on July 4 - the name 'Deep Impact' inevitably invoking a 1998 film by the same name about a 'Great Flood'.

As pointed out In my June 5 post, Comet Tempel 1 was quietly highlighting the same June 6-7 date:

On July 6-7 the comet will cross the plane of the ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun as seen from Earth), and this will coincide with the comet crossing Mars' plotted orbital path as viewed from 'above' the comet (July 5-6).

Location

Here is a map illustration from Contact: In the Ring of Fire in which I showed how skillfully London was pinpointed in the STR-driven geodetic design of the mid-June earthquake activity.

Even here the 'midpoint' theme is unmistakable - the North Pole is marking the halfway point of the meridional 'great circle' linking the two sites!

Poles, meridians, and great circles (i.e. shortest distance between two points on a sphere) are major STR themes. Indeed, on July 2 or 'middle day' our STR 'torch-bearer' figure Danica Patrick - numbered '16' - won the 'pole position' (i.e. #1 starting position) at the 'torch race' Argent Mortgage Indy 300. (Indy => Indianapolis => 'In-Diana-city' => 'in London/Paris'.)

'Danica' means 'morning star' which is another name for Venus the 'light bearer' (Lucifer) and it was none other than Venus (Williams) - ranked 16th in the world at the time - who pulled off a surprise championship win at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in... London where Live 8 was taking place simultaneously!

And the symbolic momentum generated there was channeled through our 8-day window scheme to July 6 - i.e. the day G8 started in the UK and the day London got the 2012 Olympics.

...Almost immediately followed by terror striking the heart of London.

Seven-Seven

The time code singled out July 6 and yet the bombings came in the morning of July 7. Given the time-zone differential issue inherent in all dates, one-day discrepancy is actually an acceptable 'twist'. Still, we find that there is in fact a sufficient reason to make the minor shift in order to highlight July 7.

For instance, 'Deep Impact' the movie was released in 1998. The London Olympics - if it takes place at all - will be in 2012, which is widely known to be the final year of the Mayan calendar - in effect the 'end of time' - now often associated with a certain galactic alignment. Turns out, technically speaking this alignment already took place in the same 'Deep Impact' year, 1998.

The interplay between 1998 and 2012 subsequently gives rise to the observation that the midpoint of 1998-2012 is... 2005, right now. (So 7/2/05 was the 'middle day of the middle year'.) 2005 divides the 14-year period into two 7-year segments - i.e. 7/7 - as in July 7.

The concept is reinforced by the fact that Comet Tempel 1 which was struck by Deep Impact crossed the ecliptic and the orbital path of Mars on July 5-7, seemingly acknowledging the 7/7 design.

The motif was even found 'encoded' in Live 8, specifically through Paul McCartney who opened and closed the London concert. McCartney had already emerged as a key STR figure at the Super Bowl earlier this year where he performed during halftime. Halftime' as in... midpoint. And the game's halftime score was... you guessed it, 7-7.

Circle of Fire

Very briefly, here is how McCartney's halftime/midpoint appearance fits into the pattern. From Contact: In the Ring of Fire:

I will delve into the incredible cipher system of the Super Bowl in the near future but here it is enough to point out two things: McCartney wearing a shirt with a 5-pointed star on the chest, and the 'coded' meaning of his name.

A 5-pointed star traditionally signifies Venus (as well as Sirius), the goddess star, and thus naturally also Mary Magdalene and such. So that's the entry point of the cipher - letting us know that there is something going on here. Then as we look at 'Paul McCartney' we get the idea that it's also a 'Paul star' or 'pole star' (Polaris). This is confirmed by his last name 'McCartney' meaning 'son of the bear', as in Ursa Minor the 'Little Bear' constellation, to which the Pole Star belongs.

And it was part of a larger scheme involving several more epicenters that together formed a remarkably precise great-circle line along the Pacific 'Ring of Fire'. The Ring of Fire in turn was something visually evoked during a memorable scene at the Athens Olympics opening ceremony...

A modern 'Great Flood' soon followed, coming in the form of a Sumatran quake/tsunami at the western edge of the Ring of Fire. And it was at the opposite edge of the Ring of Fire that the mid-June quakes, 'echoing' Sumatra 6 months later, assaulted California.

Through symbolism I was able to connect both Sumatra and the 'great-circle quakes' of June '05 to the 2005 Super Bowl. This connection was rather intensely acknowledged when the storyline of the special episode of The Simpsons aired right after the game had to do with a Super Bowl halftime show and the Great Flood, as you can see...

In any case, the combined symbolism of the Olympics and the Super Bowl calibrated our multicontextual focus sufficiently enough for us to discern in advance the significance of the Indianapolis 500 taking place in May, 'In-Diana-city', where Danica the 'morning star' indeed became a star. Indiana's flag is a torch, and the Indy track is of course a 'great circle'.

Jumping one month forward, or 'In Diana' i.e. 'in a month', Danica got her first 'pole' starting position for another Indy race in Kansas on the 'middle day' of 2005, July 2, as already mentioned.

That one then brings us back to June 6/7 via the 8-day 'bisected' window. The circle/ring theme is sustained here by means of London receiving the 2012 Olympics 'torch' or the Olympic 'rings of fire' and the next day's terror bombings taking place generally along the path of what is known as the 'Circle Line' of the London Underground!

And check out the the famous London Underground roundel:

A bisected circle - as if to allude to the bisected 8-day window and/or the midpoint concept. (The 'middle day' signifies Earth having completed 1/2 of its circular orbit around the Sun in 6 months.)

Speaking of roundels, here is one adopted by the United Kingdom... New visitors here may not understand the significance of this but... there it is.

What now?

So it is quite clear that the 'Super Torch Ritual' struck as anticipated in this high-impact late-June/early-July 'Great Flood'-echo window. We 'followed the torch', we saw the smoke ahead, and then we saw the fire.

Where do we go from here? Where does the 'torch' go next?

Well, this is far from over as one of the emerging implications is that 2005 is just the halfway point. We're presently observing the 'Mayan halftime show' in a sense and I will reiterate my view that all this is a form of 'Contact'. A version of 'Judgment Day'? Sure, but it's also a game and a test - the Sphinx probing us with riddles, if you know what I mean.

It was through music...

Live 8 was of course a big music day, and just three days before that, on June 29, Steven Spielberg's latest ET/Contact film War of the Worlds was released in theaters.

Same director, strikingly different take on the theme - indeed the diametrically opposite of CE-3K. This time, Contact is as dark as it can be.

What's going on here, if anything? Could it be that there is a subtle message conveyed here telling us that some form of 'Contact' is around the corner and that it can either be a magical experience or an utter nightmare depending on what we do in this period of 'Judgment'?

And what about the 'Contact' communication through music? Was there any 'signal in the noise' at the Live 8 events? Did you hear anything?

I... seem to be hearing... some... thing...

'Tell me...'

'What are you going to do about this?'
'What are you gonna do about injustice in the world?'

'Where is the truth? Where is the love?'
'Where is your compassion?'

'Can you sustain the Long Walk To Justice?'

Anyway, this post was my initial brief response to the London event. So much more to go into, and hopefully I can begin to go more into the 'next level' stuff soon.

What an intriguing weekend it was... especially for those of us following the 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR) here.

As noted previously and in the 'Contact' article, the key date was July 2, which was not only the 'middle day' of the year but also the midpoint of an 8-day window from June 28 through July 6 - a window seemingly acknowledged by Live '8' (July 2) and G'8' (starting July 6).

To refresh your memory, we were monitoring Live 8, Wimbledon (Venus Williams), the Tour de France (Lance Armstrong), Argent Mortgage Indy 300 (Danica Patrick), followed by Deep Impact on another 'Indy (Independence) Day' - all interconnected symbolically.

Well, Live 8 was a great success in spite of getting not much help from the corporate media. Indeed there was seemingly a hidden greater force propelling the event, so much so that it was in a sense, at least in my view, a form of 'Contact'. The 'game', or 'test', is definitely on. I'll go into this issue soon.

Millions rock to Live 8 message

The Live 8 event basically transmitted a 'message of love' to reflect Venus and Mercury - the planets of love and communication respectively - traveling together in the sky at this time (about 15 days around the beginning of July). I will say that Live 8 was probably a marker event that caused a sufficient shift in mass psychology - the final push - at last putting a period on the run-on sentence stemming from 9/11 filled with fear and hate. The pendulum reached the half-cycle point - or the midpoint - and now it's reversing the direction, so to speak. At least that appears to be the picture being painted, though that's not to say that the reversal will continue. But for now...

Certainly the Bush administration does appear to be all but out of gas at this point, and it will be interesting to see what will happen with the new Plame-gate development - a story emerging late last week stating that it was Bush's top political adviser ('Bush's Brain') Karl Rove who leaked information that blew the cover of an undercover CIA operative (Plame). This right after the Downing Street Memo, and perhaps more coming...

The 'love' aspect of this period was also expressed through Venus Williams' surprising success at Wimbledon - in London, where the central Live 8 concert was held. On the 'middle day' (July 2), with Live 8 in the background, Venus managed to beat Lindsay Davenport in the championship game, reclaiming the title.

(The Venus motif also emerged at Live 8 in London where Madonna - a 'Mary Magdalene' figure analogous to Venus - became a big hit.)

I previously speculated that we were probably in for a double-Venus victory weekend through Venus Williams and Danica Patrick racing at the Argent Mortgage 300 in Kansas ('Danica' = 'morning star' = Venus). Slight incoherence there was that the Indy race was to take place on July 3 - a day after the 'middle day' - which in the relevant STR time code was actually a little 'gap' between July 2 and 4 carrying not much significance. But by Saturday that was all cleared up. Danica for the first time got the pole position (#1 starting position) on July 2! I should have seen that coming...

The reader should recall/learn that the notion of 'pole' is now a major theme in the STR. For instance, London where Live 8 and Wimbledon were held is on a meridional great circle (actually Greenwich Prime Meridian) coming from the epicenter of one of the STR-driven mid-June earthquakes, and the great-circle segment bridging the two sites is bisected by the North Pole. (See this graphic.) So not only was a pole involved , even the idea of 'midpoint' (as in 'middle day') was found encoded there to intensify the correlation.

If that's not enough, we also have Paul McCartney. First, it was McCartney's Super Bowl halftime performance on February 6 and the surrounding symbolism there that originally brought our attention to Danica and the Indy 500 (May 29). (See my May 17 post for example.) And it was the idea of a '5-pointed star' (= Venus) and the 'pole star' found encoded there along with various car references and such that enabled me to detect the significance of Danica and Indy weeks before the race which came exactly 112 days after the Super Bowl ('112' being a key STR 'Judgment Day' number). Even McCartney's 'halftime' appearance clearly prefigured the idea of a 'midpoint'/'middle day'. What's more, it was McCartney himself who opened and closed Live 8 in London on the middle day!

Danica winning the pole position on the that day in Kansas therefore was more than a little coincidence - it was the fulfillment of the pattern. The race itself on July 3 was more or less irrelevant. In fact, Danica faded very quickly there and became a non-factor, which had the 'desired' effect of highlighting the pole position on July 2 even more.

The Tour de France was another Venus-related event that started on July 2 where we saw something similar. Lance Armstrong, who is more or less a 'torch bearer' figure like Danica, etc., was on fire the first day and then backed off the next day, as a result highlighting July 2.

And then Independence Day came next (July 4) which is an 'Indy Day' featuring a torch-bearing Venus figure from France, the land of Mary Magdalene - i.e. Statue of Liberty. Obviously an important day in the Super Torch Ritual that was symbolically foreshadowed by Danica and the Argent Indy race...

The anticipated big event here was Deep Impact. As you probably already know, the space mission went very well and the 'impactor' released from the spacecraft hit Comet Tempel 1 early July 4 US time, becoming the first fireworks show of the day.

The impact came at 1:52 AM EDT.

At 1:52 GMT July 5 - Greenwich Mean Time or London time - Sumatra was struck by another big quake measuring 6.7...

Now, the current late-June/early-July window is significant for being the 6-month echo point from last December's Sumatran 'Great Flood', and for having, as explained in my Contact: In the Ring of Fire article, the second deadly Sumatra quake on March 28 marking the exact midpoint between Sumatra #1 and June 28, the latter being a key date anchoring the current window. I then took it further... From the article:

So the emphasis on June 28 is clear. But this clarity is what fueled my suspicion that there might be further steps to be taken. This led me to additional revelations such as this below producing a wider window surrounding the key date.

This is a Sun-driven decoding utilizing the Sun's northernmost point and its furthest point from Earth. It produces a 'balanced' timing structure and its significance is amplified by the coincidence of aphelion day bringing the Moon into Orion's 'torch' region (Sun's summer-solstice position). Balanced indeed - and quite ominous, as this is where the Moon was at the time of the Sumatran 'Great Flood'.

In other words, I singled out July 5 as a key Sumatra 'echo day' and it was indeed on July 5 that the latest major quake hit Sumatra. While it was not deadly per se (no casualties reported), the earth shook violently enough to get the media's attention and hence sufficiently 'acknowledged' the pattern.

In fact, the lack of impact in terms of destructiveness was compensated for by the quake's extra 'encoding'. A projected theme not only manifested, but as 'Jim' pointed out for me, the event came at 1:52 GMT/London time which was the exact time marked less than 24 hours before by Deep Impact's collision with Comet Tempel 1 in US eastern standard time (includes NY, Washington DC [NASA headquarters], Florida, etc.)! And of course 'Deep Impact' via the Hollywood film by the same title relates unambiguously to the Great Flood!

As if that wasn't enough, '1:52 am' also happens to be the exact time Schwarzenegger as a cyborg from the future comes through a 'stargate' in the first Terminator movie! (Thanks to Linnie & Jim for this one.) Needless to say, Schwarzenegger ('the Olympian'/torch bearer) and the Terminator series (all about 'Judgment Day') are an important component of the Super Torch Ritual - Terminator 3 (2003) in particular giving us the initial clue leading us to detect and then track an extensive system of 'Judgment Day' time codes which includes the 'midpoint' concept. Terminator 3, again, was released on July 2, i.e. the 'middle day' and a key 'torch day', that heavily interacts this year with Independence/Deep Impact/Great Flood Day...

Can you feel the 'Matrix' now? :)

Well, all eyes are now on July 6 which will bring us: 1) start of the G8 summit in UK, i.e. the target of Live 8's 'The Long Walk To Justice' campaign; 2) announcement of the host city of the 2012 Summer Olympics; 3) Bush's birthday.

Here is what I wrote in the Contact article:

[Live 8's] early-July timing is designed to closely precede G8 Summit set to begin on July 6. The 4-day separation here becomes more meaningful as we realize that June 28 comes exactly 4 days before Live 8 or the 'middle day' (July 2). 8 days in all - a fact seemingly acknowledged by the titles 'Live 8' and 'G8'. Even its logo, showing a bisected '8', appears to allude to this 'bisected' 8-day time code. Combined with Live 8's 'Justice' reference, the 'Judgment' theme is unmistakably present here.

So here the key 'anchor date' June 28 interacts with July 2 to form another smaller window that pinpoints July 6. Add to this the following, which is an 'acknowledgement' from Comet Tempel 1 just hit by Deep Impact: On July 6-7 the comet will cross the plane of the ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun as seen from Earth), and this will coincide with the comet crossing Mars' plotted orbital path as viewed from 'above' the comet (July 5-6). If viewed laterally, Comet Tempel 1 will go under Mars' orbital path/plane on July 13 - the target day for the launch of NASA's space shuttle Discovery. July 16 is another key date but I'll discuss that one in another post. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Finally, since the announcement is tomorrow, I think I'll do a little guessing here regarding which city gets to host the 2012 Olympics - just for fun. To be honest, because Paris, London, Madrid, and NYC are all prominent 'torch cities' I'm having a pretty hard time trying to discern this, but... since recent 'STR events' have emphasize London and France/Paris, these would have be my top two choices. If forced to choose just one, I would pick Paris. Here are some of the clues seemingly supportive of Paris:

1. The 2012 Olympics will be 'XXX' (30) which inevitably evokes Venus-Mary-Isis the god of love/sex - Mary Magdalene is closely associated with France and the city of Paris is sometimes said to be dedicated to Isis ('Par-Isis').

2. 2012 will see the second of the current Venus Transit pair, the first of which occurred last year, thus again highlighting Isis-Mary and through which France/Paris.

3. The number '16' is attached to both Danica (car # 16) and Venus Williams (currently ranked 16th in the world) as if to allude in part to the 16th Winter Olympics which were held in France (1992).

4. The Tour de France cyclists will cross the Paris Zero Meridian (esoterically the 'Rose Line' signifying the Grail 'bloodline' or Mary Magdalene) on July 6 for the first time in the race, a stylized expression of Venus crossing the Galactic Meridian and vice versa which is an important STR theme.

Not enough to feel confident personally but - Paris would be my guess.

Update 7/06: It all came down to a two-way battle between our two 'Diana cities', London and Paris, in the fourth and final round of voting in Singapore. In the end, the International Olympic Committee awarded the 2012 Olympic Games to London.

So that's where we are in the early-July window. So far, with a little twist, the STR pattern has manifested more or less as anticipated, and we'll see how this will continue on July 6 and beyond. Indeed, the Deep Impact theme is far from over... Some serious momentum building up for later this year and I'll write about that soon.

Over the past few days many multicontextual dots have been connected and I would say the sense is growing that the 'Super Torch Ritual' (STR) is gaining a lot of momentum right now. And that's no surprise considering that this window is the echo of last December's 'Great Flood' in our 6-month/opposition/balanced time code.

But first, we just heard today that Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is retiring from the Supreme Court, which is a big political development. O'Connor represented a often decisive swing vote in the court and as such most are now expecting a big political battle over her replacement this summer. My initial comment here would be that this is so fitting - the timing and the embedded theme. The Judgment/Justice motif closely tracked on this website is manifesting vividly there... a female Supreme Court Justice whose vote often tipped the scale. And the timing - here is what I wrote previously on June 28 regarding the date July 1:

Let me also mention that adding 112 days to March 11 ('Judgment Day') will bring us to July 1. Turns out the same date is produced by adjusting the [Sumatra #1]-[Sumatra #2]-[June 28] equidistant timeline using the 0.967:1 ratio (or 1:1.034) that is already associated with this type of encoding involving Sumatra (and Madrid). There are 92 days from Sumatra #1 to #2; multiply it by 1.034 and we get 95.1; add that to Sumatra #2 and we arrive at July 1. So that's quite interesting.

What's remarkable is the fact that both '112' and '3/11' are very much related to 'Judgment Day' in the STR scheme. This makes today's event a significant confirmation of the pattern and perhaps something symbolically comparable to the 'Great Flood' (maybe we'll see more evidence of this in the coming days).

Apart from that, I'm now detecting what can be described as a successive passing of the torch, continuously moving forward like the Olympic torch going around the world before the start of Games. I see this taking place at least since the Indianapolis 500 (May 8-29) which I have described as representing a strong (pregnancy-birth) echo of last year's Athens Olympics - the world's biggest sporting event - that took place exactly 9 months before and also linked to the biggest American sporting event, the Super Bowl, that came exactly 112 days before Indy's main race day ('112' being a key STR/'Judgment' number derivative of '911').

By early May the sole female Indy car driver Danica Patrick was projected on this site to be a new 'torch-bearer' figure - her first name having the meaning 'morning star' (= Venus the light-bearer, or Lucifer) and her car prominently displaying a torch as part of Argent Mortgage's sponsor logo - and although she came in fourth, she did 'make history' and become a 'star' there.

Indy was also projected to interact with the early-June window, which ended up giving us Michael Jackson's final 'Judgment Day' period (6/3-13). This was a variation on the familiar STR theme of 'Sun-king judgment'. (The 'Sun' is the ultimate 'torch'.) We also had in there another 112-day separation scheme connecting the first day of the tabloid judgment period to the 2/12 Madrid Windsor Tower fire, a major STR event. Now, as I often mention, 'tower' is exactly what's denoted by the name/title 'Magdalene' as in Mary Magdalene, the New Testament version of Venus, thus also an alter ego of Danica. And the 'tower on fire' imagery is exactly what is depicted on the ominous tarot card numbered '16', the same number seen on Danica's car. Danica's lowest position at Indy was 16th, and the winner there started from the 16th position. This also relates back to the new pope Benedict XVI (16), and so on.

This was followed next by the Ring of Fire becoming active and 'targeting' California in particular, where MJ's trial was taking place. California is also governed by the 'ultimate' or at least the original STR torch-bearer, Schwarzenegger ('the Olympian'). The earthquakes began pretty much on the day of Jackson receiving his 'not guilty' judgment, and lasted several days (~6/13-17). These mid-June quakes 'targeting' the Golden State, as discussed in Contact: In the Ring of Fire, were already a strong echo of last December's Sumatra, or the 'Isle of Gold', situated at the opposite side of the Ring of Fire.

Being handed the torch next, now I can see, was the biggest tennis tournament in the world, Wimbledon, starting June 20 and set to conclude this weekend. And who's in the women's final coming up this weekend? Venus Williams. That's another Venus figure entering this 'torch-passing ritual'. And her current ranking is... 16th, of course. She is the 16th best female tennis player in the world. That makes her even more of an alter ego of Danica the morning star and vice versa. The media coverage of her surprise resurgence has been amusing as well... Very symbolic headlines everywhere: 'Venus Back in the Sun', 'The Re-birth of Venus', etc. etc.

The location is another key factor since London (Wimbledon) has already been pinpointed through the geodetic design found 'encoded' in the mid-June quakes.

And of course the timing. Women's final is scheduled for July 2 ( could change due to weather), which is the 'middle day' of the year - 'midpoint' being a highly significant attribute in the currently very active STR 'Judgment Day' context. July 2 is even the release date of Terminator 3 (2003), a film all about 'Judgment Day' and from which key elements of our various time codes in this period have derived.

The combination of London and July 2 really underscores the hidden 'ritualistic' design already detected in the big Live 8 concerts - 'The Long Walk to Justice' (a clear 'Judgment' theme again). This event will be watched by a huge worldwide audience on July 2 and the central concert will be held in London. (Again, see the 'Contact' article for more detail on the symbolic significance of this.)

As regular readers here know, there is a 'music' theme heavily woven into the Super Torch Ritual, and major figures such as Janet Jackson, U2/Bono, Damageplan/Pantera, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, and Pink Floyd have been noticed to - most likely unwittingly - play a key role in the overall design/communication. (Check out my May 17 post, for instance.) By December of last year, I had detected interlocking themes connecting Paul McCartney (Beatles), Damageplan/Pantera, Pink Floyd, and later U2  - The Wizard of Oz somehow being the most prominent symbolic motif. As you can see in this 12/22/04 post I used this obscure symbolism to accurately forecast the impending exit of Pope John Paul II. (This was just over a month before he suddenly fell ill on 2/1/05.)

In this light it becomes more than just a little curious that McCartney, who was the halftime performer at the 2005 Super Bowl, will open and close the London Live 8 show and will share the stage with Bono/U2. Not only that, Pink Floyd will do a reunion performance there to excite the crowd as well. So convergent is the Live 8 concert in London on the 'middle day' that it's shaping up to be the music version of the Athens Olympics, representing a major culmination point in the STR matrix.

But there is even more to the 'middle day' of 2005. Another big sporting event, the Tour de France, is to start on July 2! (7/2-24) Le Tour we discussed last year as well - natural given its enticing symbolism. The term 'Tour' for starters is related to 'tower', which prompts the following association: tower = Magdalene = Venus = Danica & Venus Williams. Since southern France is where Mary Magdalene is said to have brought the Royal Blood according to Grail traditions, Tour de France or 'tower of France' certainly evokes Mary Magdalene-Venus. Her ancient Egyptian version would be the goddess Isis and indeed the city of Paris - where the Tour will finish - is thought to be dedicated to that very goddess (Par-Isis, 'near Isis').

The reigning king of the Tour de France is Lance Armstrong of the United States who has won six consecutive times from 1999-2004. Much can be said about the name 'Lance' (such as the Grail-like 'Spear of Destiny') as well as 'Armstrong'. Indeed the latter inevitably brings to mind Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the Moon. This association finds an echo in Danica whose 'torch' sponsor is Argent Mortgage, 'argent' meaning silver which in turn is traditionally closely associated with the Moon (silver called luna by alchemsists). And she became a star in Indiana which I have already found to encode the notion 'In-Diana' or 'In Moon' (Diana is the Roman moon goddess).

There is also princess Diana, who was killed in a car crash in Paris and the crash site is now marked by the 'Flame of Liberty' monument, a torch-shaped sculpture. Even the opening day the Athens Olympics, August 13, when the torch was ceremonially lit at the stadium, traditionally marks 'Diana's Feast of Torches'. Going a little further, using the name 'Indianapolis' we would get 'In-Diana-city', giving us Paris (place of Diana's death) and London (where she resided), thus in effect bridging the very two cities made prominent on July 2 through Wimbledon, Live 8, and Tour de France.

My interpretation has been that 'In Moon' also implies 'in a month' and jumping ahead one month from Indy (5/29) takes us to the end of June. The Indy race closest to that timeframe happens to be this weekend's Argent Mortgage Indy 300 in Kansas. Now... Argent Mortgage is none other than Danica's 'torch' sponsor and that's made plain in this logo:

This will be on July 3, merely a day after Wimbledon/Live8/Le Tour, and Danica is considered a serious contender there. In terms of locality, Kansas is where Dorothy originally lived before a twister took her into another world in The Wizard of Oz ('There is no place like home').

This Indy event in turn is immediately followed by another 'Indy Day', or Independence Day, which is, yes, another 'torch/fire day'... featuring, yes... another Venus-Magdalene figure, the Statue of Liberty holding up... yes, the Flame of Liberty a la Diana... and the statue is a gift is from... yes, France. :)

France by the way was just selected on June 28 (a key date) to host a joint international scientific project - the most expensive one after the International Space Station - which will build a nuclear fusion reactor ('ITER'). Nuclear fusion is how the Sun burns and the imagery makes it quite comparable to the Promethean (Olympic) fire/torch (thanks to 'Garfield' for bringing up this concept). Indeed, what NASA calls 'Project Prometheus' is a relatively new initiative that has to do with using a nuclear reactor for spacecraft propulsion.

Though non-nuclear, NASA is also cooking up a space fireworks show this Independence/Indy/Torch Day. This, of course, will be the impactor released from the space agency's ominously named 'Deep Impact' probe intentionally colliding with Comet Tempel 1 as part of a science mission to study the composition of comets' nucleus (another 'nuclear' allusion?).

The name 'Deep Impact' obviously comes from (even if NASA denies it) a 1998 film about 'Judgment Day' and quite literally the 'Great Flood'. In the story chosen people are allowed to take shelter in an underground cave facility called 'Noah's Ark'.

So right here we have a quite literal - and yet quite fictional - manifestation of the projected 'Great Flood' echo... right on time. But I can already tell you that there is something else going on here with Deep Impact that has to do with another timeframe. I can almost hear the 'countdown'... Just as the passing of the Olympic torch precedes the 'main event'...

But for now let me bring up two films, Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow - both directed by the same guy and both clearly 'torch' movies, as you can see...

Because of the underlying 'Contact' context we have going with the 'torch' theme now, the symbolism of these movies seems to be really coming into play at this time. Even the weird title 'The Day After Tomorrow' begins to make some sense - in that July 6 would be the 'day after tomorrow' from Independence Day and that date (July 6), as I explained in 'Contact', is a key component of a 'balanced' 8-day time code anchored at the middle by our special day, July 2. (The other edge is marked by the other special day, June 28.) Suffice it to say here that Live 8 was deliberately timed to closely precede the G8 Summit that begins July 6, and that the '8' in both 'G8' and 'Live 8' seems to have the hidden function of alluding to the 8-day window occupying around the beginning of July.

The significance of July 6 is amplified by the anticipated announcement of the host city of the 2012 Summer Olympics. This is coming on July 6, and related to this is the fact that adding '311' days to the heavily STR-encoded 8/29/04 closing ceremony in Athens takes us to, again, July 6. There is also an important Deep Impact connection here but I'll go into that another time.

So a lot to monitor in the coming days. It will be interesting to see, for instance, if there is going to be a double-Venus victory (or 'double gold' since Venus = 'gold star') through Venus W. and Danica this weekend - which was perhaps prefigured by the 'double gold' quakes of Sumatra and California ('Isle of Gold' and 'Golden State').
